Say “Hello” to photos in 32º weather in downtown Fort Worth! First of all, these two get the award for biggest troopers of the year! I am pretty sure we chose to shoot on one of the coldest days in February. Fortunately, cold means coffee and that’s perfect when you’ve got a photographer and a couple that literally LOVE coffee and trying new coffee shops! A match made in heaven, if you ask me.
We met in a gorgeous garden and quickly headed to Sons of Liberty Coffee in downtown Fort Worth to warm up inside! We took the cutest coffee shop photos and had great conversation about their past, present and future. Being a one-on-one person, I love that we got to sit and talk in the midst of their session and I think we all enjoyed this part of the session. This was easily my favorite part of the morning. I love that they wanted to know me as much as I wanted to know them!
We finished up with a walk around Bass Hall (one of their favorite places in downtown Fort Worth), crosswalk laughs and some sidewalk kisses. By this point, I think Heath was completely frozen which made for some good laughs on all accounts- sorry Heath!
Heath and Kaysi, thank you so much for braving the cold with me and sharing your story over coffee. I am truly thankful to know you and can’t wait for your big day this summer! I’m thinking we’ll have the polar opposite on the weather front, don’t you?
What are your thoughts on winter engagement photos?! And who wants to cozy up in a coffee shop with me?! I love exploring new places and trying new coffee is a welcome bonus! Book your coffee shop engagement session here!
