When your brother is being deployed on the day of your wedding, you improvise… with a (almost life size) cardboard cutout! Yep!
In honor of Veteran’s Day, I wanted to honor Landon Boaz and his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was unable to attend Cason and Taylor‘s wedding due to being deployed on the day of. Although he was deeply missed by everyone, they sure knew how to make the most of the situation!
Throughout the day, you could find Landon guarding the bridal suite, standing by his brother’s side at the altar, photobombing and serving as a “sun block” during the formal photos, and partying on the dance floor. Although physically absent, he was no doubt present in everyone’s hearts and laughter! I have to confess that Landon was the punchline of a lot of my jokes to get smiles and laughter out of people during the formal phots… 🙂 It worked!
In all sincerity, thank you for your faithful service to our country and for helping to ensure all of our freedom, Landon. We all appreciate all that you are doing and the sacrifice you have made. I know your family is so proud of you and you are daily in everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
Once again, thank you to Landon, all active duty and Veteran’s for your service to our country. We would not be able to do the things we do on a daily basis without you. Your service and sacrifice does not go unnoticed.
